About Byron L.
I’m a storyteller, educator and creative at heart and I want to help make the world a better place for everyone. With an extensive background in fine arts I moved into filmmaking as a director, writer, editor, producer and cinematographer making award winning short films before beginning my professional career as a creative producer and cinematic director at Electronic Arts.Subsequently I started my own production company and co-created the Langara Film Arts program. Concurrently I worked in animation directing and editing for AAA titles such as Deus Ex, Dungeon and Dragons, Star Wars Uprising and ReCore. I moved to Los Angeles in 2017 to begin work in feature film and television development and production. Most recently I’ve been working in animation with a focus on the creative implementation of AI tools. I am a creative and innovative thinker and storyteller, strong communicator, manager and organized multitasker with a talent for optimizing development and production pipelines.
