Since 1987, Byron has been engaged in multifamily and commercial real estate management, strategic planning, financial analysis, acquisitions, dispositions, valuation, budgeting/finance, marketing, human resources and sales. Experience also includes management and development of an independent senior housing portfolio. He was awarded the MAI (Member of the Appraisal Institute) designation in 1992 and the CCIM designation in 1998. Byron has served on the CCIM chapter Board of Directors since 1999 and has chaired various committees. Byron’s involvement in the Houston Apartment Association includes serving the Board of Directors since 1998, President of the Houston Multifamily Fire Safety Alliance since 2002 and Membership Committee Chair in 2005. Byron is also a licensed real estate broker in the state of Texas and member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).When not working, Byron and his wife, Lysette, enjoy trying to keep up with their three children.
