As a CTO at Black Nova, I was leading a product development, product design, quality assurance and product support teams to build smart home automation solutions in response to ideas submitted by our customers and company vision.Responsibilities:- Function as the engineering director for the controls business, with direct reporting of engineering project managers in this organization to this position- Responsible to lead R&D engineering departments in all L&C brands globally, across the entire BU, with direct reporting of brand engineering managers to this position- Participate on technical review committees to ensure engineering design meets product/market, quality, cost, and manufacturing needs and goals- Define the technical / engineering expertise and staffing levels and organizational structure required to successfully implement the engineering function; establish priorities and distribute work among the department based on priority, workload and individual skills- Develop and improve engineering processes.- Develop technology and innovation roadmaps aligned to business strategy.- Manage contract service firms where applicable.- Prepare accurate, up-to-date, and concise oral and written reports and reviews on departmental progress and direction- Assist senior management in implementing long-range strategic plans- Coach and develop staff members- Create and maintain a budget for areas of responsibility

Responsibilities:- Performed development of open-loop and closed-loop feedback system- Writing test scripts for Requirement Based Test using Visual Basic, Hardware Software Integration Test using Ashling, and configuring the test logs to MKS Source Integrity.- Development of the verification tools like Simulator Interface, CAN Communication Test Interface and Verification Test Interface GUI design.- Worked on CAN Analyzer- Perform fault isolation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities. Had regular meetings with clients to interact and solve critical issues.Skills:- Protocols USB, UART, I2C, SPI.- C and C++ programming languages- OS platforms Linux and RTOS.
