Brian has assumed the role of president upon the merger of ZI Solutions LLC with The Brokers Group, bringing with him nearly 35 years in IT and consulting experience. He began his career in 1974 at AT&T Bell Laboratories, where he worked for the next nine years in both a technical and supervisory capacity on sophisticated data management systems and applications. In 1983, he founded his own IT professional services consulting company, which he subsequently merged with Regal Data Systems in 1985. As executive vice president at Regal, he oversaw all day-to-day operations in serving a Fortune 100 clientele. By the spring of 1996, Regal had become so prominent in the Mid-Atlantic region that it drew the attention of the publicly-owned COREStaff, which eventually bought Regal and appointed Brian as the vice president of the Northeast Division of a new entity (Metamor Information Technology Services) with responsibility for integrating and leading the technical and management staffs of newly-acquired firms and overseeing budgeted annual revenues in excess of $50 million. He continued in this post for two years. In the spring of 2003, declaring an end to his experimental retirement, Brian began laying the groundwork for a new venture. As a result, ZI Solutions LLC became a reality in July of that year. As the company approached its fifth birthday, a new opportunity for growth arose in discussions with The Brokers Group, and a merger soon followed. The Brokers Group now has a new brand name, Talon Professional Services.Brian obtained his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the City University of New York, Queens College, and holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
