Alex began his professional career in the motorsports industry, with Porsche and Audi. After transitioning to the software industry, he now works for AGS, designing interactive casino experiences. He also founded his own company, Armchair Games to create new games and apps. As an interactive programming expert, with experience in the high-pressure systems-focused world of Professional Motorsports, Alex institutes a wealth of tools and strategies developed to handle organizing, iterating on, and improving complex systems. Motorsports and Software bear many similarities. Both require the ability to take a wholistic approach to a system that might have many complex parts, to break that system and its problems down into their smaller more specific components. By doing so, thorough and effective solutions can be found. Combined with Alex's extensive knowledge and experience of programming systems and IDEs, this approach allows him to bring a whole-systems viewpoint to programming, no matter how large or small the task. Alex also contributes his time to public speaking for college and high school classes, as well as software quality associations in the Atlanta area.
