Past - Keene Housing had a contract to manage the Cheshire Housing Trust and has now acquired all its units. I served as the Assistant to the Executive Director of the Cheshire Housing Trust, supporting the board, writing grants, and assisting with budget development. Current - I assist the senior managers at Keene Housing with special projects and serve as a consultant to program staff on problem solving and regulation interpretation. I also serve as a hearings officer for client grievances. I am also a certified HQS (HUD Housing Quality Standards) Inspector and conduct quarterly Quality Control Inspections.In the past, I have done training presentations on Program Efficiency and Managing Your Manager. I also assisted the CEO with the organizational goal setting process, did an evaluation of the maintenance operation and made several recommendations on efficiency and inventory control. I have worked with the program manager writing both the MTW Plan and Reports. Keene Housing is utilizing my forty years’ experience in Federal and State (Massachusetts) housing where needed to support the organization.

I supervised both the community and client programs for a nonprofit agency which worked in Housing and Community Development. I am particularly skilled at systems and workflow. I computerized a 2500 unit state and federal rental assistance program and moved the program toward a paperless office. I served on boards representing the organization in both housing and community development, including the Massachusetts Regional Housing Network,serving a term as President, RCAP, Inc., the Housing Information Center, the National Demonstration Water Project and the Massachusetts Rural Development Council. I directly supervised the program managers and ultimately a staff of about 75 to 80 people and budgets in the range of $25 million dollars.
