With a rich background spanning years of passion and volunteer work in childcare/education services, I bring a unique blend of skills and strengths to any new position. Though currently studying education through Swinburne, I have cultivated a passion for child learning, child development, and interests in creating an equal opportunity to education for all. My volunteer work in Friends of Refugees, Springvale, has built on this passion for childcare and I am hoping further experience in primary education will assist the blend of my sound curriculum knowledge into a personalised and efficient teacher practice. My current managerial role has assisted in building my strengths regarding teamwork, leadership, conflict resolution, a growth mindset and creative professional learning. I find I am weak in confidence and often feel overlooked; however, my role at Big W has evolved this confidence into a greater self-efficacy that is eager to learn and develop through professional growth.Whilst my direct experience in childcare and teacher education is not solid, I hold a very strong value in connecting with young minds and contributing positively to their lives. With a keen interest in child psychology, early childhood development, and nurturing environments, I am committed to continuously learning and growing in this field.
