Responsible of the development of Basic Engineering for the concretion Initiatives and Projects defined for Aconcagua Refinery, as well as the modifications and requirements derived from the normal operation of the refinery and compliance with the aforementioned objectives.Direction of Engineering Studies that allows the organization to incorporate the necessary knowledge for the safe and efficient solution of the problems arising from the operation.- Development of Basic Engineering and Engineering Studies.- Compliance with the ERA's mayor HAZOP's update program.- Compliance with the ERS's P&ID's update program.- Realization of Engineering HAZOP's for ERA.- Technical support in Initiatives of the Department.- Technical support in the process discipline, in programmed detentions and in refinery units special operations.- Arise of technological improvements and debottlenecks in units.

Development of process design packages, which includes: heat and material balances (H&MB), process flow diagrams (PFD's), equipment’s and instruments process specifications, piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID's) and process design basis. Supports FEED and EPC design activities including: process datasheets, hydraulic reviews, engineering flow diagrams (EFD’s) reviews, HAZOP development and resolution, vendor information review, operation guidelines, control philosophies and utility balances. Interfaces with licensors to develop licensed packages into FEED packages. Supervision and leading of process engineers in Basic Engineering process specifications development. Proposal Management.

Engages in the preparation of process design calculations, simulations, heat and material balances, economic studies and evaluations, process and engineering flow diagrams, and instrument, relief valve, and equipment specifications. Supports FEED and EPC design activities including hydraulic reviews, EFD reviews, HAZOP resolution, vendor drawing reviews and utility balances.

Lecturer for the class "Fundamentos de Informática" for Chemicals Engineers.

Participation in the project's assembly for a Zinc Cathodes production plant, leading the basic engineering stage (preliminary testing, experimental design and pilot plant design). Done by University of Santiago with private funds.
