Administratively, I have experience as a site principal, CTE Director, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, District Testing Coordinator, Title IX Coordinator, and Executive Director of K-12 Education. I have served on ADE’s Rural Advisory Council, and as Project Coordinator for the Arizona Student Opportunity Collaborative.As a teacher, my background comprises over 9000 one-on-one teacher-student writing conferences, a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University, school district consultation across Arizona, a trending Eye on Education book publication with Routledge in NY, and keynote PD presentations at multiple district, state and national conferences. My background also includes work as a professional screenwriter (live action and animation), music producer/composer, and children's book author.
