Supporting the GE-Hitachi Small Modular Reactor (SMR) project through the Generic Design Assessment (GDA) process with the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) in the UK as Quality Manager.

Responsible for project quality planning and oversight, leading auditing efforts across various EPR Nuclear New Build projects, while also monitoring quality performance throughout the project lifecycle. Focused on identifying potential issues, implementing corrective actions, and promoting continuous improvement to enhance overall project quality and deliver successful outcomes.

 Acts as client and company interface on Quality compliance and HSE activities  Developing and maintaining QMS Procedures to support ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO/IEC 17025.  Reviewing tenders and project documents (WPS, PQR, MTC,etc.) against specification and standards  Reviewing and approving material certificates, mechanical/Chemical test reports, calibration certificates and all other process traceability data needed for compilation of material data book/LTQR. Carrying out Supplier Auditing, Quality Inspection, Gap analysis and Vendor evaluation  Carrying out Internal Audits and continuous improvement strategy. Carrying out Trend Analysis, Corrective Action Management (CAPA), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).  Developing and maintaining Quality Control Plan QCP, ITP and Business Risk Register. Championing customer’s Complaint Resolution and Non-Conformance management. Coordinating site Quality Surveillance, improvement plan and work in progress safety supervision. Liaising with third parties and certifying bodies in relation to work scopes and compliance.

Role Act as client and company interface on EHS and Quality compliance activities Development and Implementation of projects QCP/ITP and Safe Working Procedures,  Management of document control process for internal EEW activities and projects Review of EEW contractors compliance, documentations and certifications  Review of relevant project documentation such as weld procedures and NDE procedures, Ensure implementation and continuous Improvement of Environmental and Safety Programs. Lead in facility internal Audit, Supplier compliance audits and Root Cause Analysis(RCA) Coordinate EEW Quality performance and Supplier appraisal to ISO 9001 and ISO14001 Coordinates work in progress supervision and Quality compliance activities Coordinates collation and compilation of data for trend analysis, RCA and NCR management  Provide technical quality support during project kick off meeting  Manage incident/near misses and maintain oversight on incident abatement.  Guide operation pollution prevention and waste minimization efforts  Conduct toolbox talk and in-house training on EHS and Quality procedure. Liaise with Regulatory bodies and Certifying Authorities in relation to compliance.
