C. David Brown joined BAE Systems in 2017 as the Senior Director of Contract Management for Combat Mission Systems. In this role, he is responsible for the oversight and fulfilment of all contractual obligations across the portfolio. This includes contract negotiations, risk management, execution of strategic agreements and policy, compliance with U.S. Department of Defense regulations and guidelines, development and implementation of best practices within the contract management function, and management of functional personnel across the business unit. Prior to joining BAE Systems, David was vice president of Contract Management and Strategic Agreements at ATK Aerospace Group supporting both Defense and Commercial Aerospace product lanes. He held positions of progressively increased responsibility throughout the company’s Contract Management and Program Management functions in the propulsion, defense, fuzing, commercial, composite structures, and aerospace business areas. David has over 25 years of experience in contract management and project management. Previous positions include manager of Venue Development for the Olympic Winter Games of 2002 in Salt Lake City, Utah managing contracts, subcontracts, design-build, and construction for all temporary construction. He also worked at Compak America and DPM as manager of Marketing/Business Development and Customer Relations, and Hercules Aerospace in various contract management roles. David has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing from Utah State University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor School of Business Management, Texas.
