Hello! My name is Colin Edward Zimmerman, and I am a professional historian and Ph.D. candidate. My area of concentration(s) centers around the early American Republic; its politics, warfare, conflicts, and society. My primary objective is to present standard and newfound interpretations in public and academic settings through exhaustive research, analysis, writing, editing, and publications. I have had the privilege and opportunity to engage as a public speaker, lecturer, author, program coordinator, and interpretative guide for multiple different engagements and historic sites. I look forward to growing in my chosen career, passion, and mission in life! In addition to making my way in the history field, I've been involved in various roles in the Public Safety Administration field and served in the United States Army.
