Sustainability both at work and at home is something close to my heart, and I want to do my part to leave the world a better place for the next generations. I love working in a role where I know I'm making a positive impact. After a volunteering position as Green Champion at Malvern Panalytical, I'm delighted that I have been given a bigger opportunity to make a difference as Sustainability Project Manager.My current role is focused on reducing the carbon footprint of our products, contributing to Malvern Panalytical's Net Zero goals for in house emissions by 2030, and value chain by 2040. The emphasis is on gathering accurate data, employee engagement and sustainable design. I have also set up the Enigma Sustainability Forum for local businesses to share ideas about best practice. We run quarterly events where external speakers come to engage and educate us, providing us with fascinating insights. Keep an eye out on my feed for upcoming events!I have a background in C# software development, and recently worked as a software team lead. My key responsibilities were managing a scrum team of engineers and project managing the integration of two key software products.I love a challenge and my non-linear career journey, including volunteering roles, has enabled me to learn how to manage teams and people, and enhanced my communication skills. I love talking to people, getting to know what makes them tick. I can also cook a top notch tasting menu!
