Passionate educator with belief that everyone can be a superhero!

As an employee with Nobel, I've taught Kindergarten (1 year), Technology (3 years), & 3rd Grade (3 years). I've held various leadership positions on the Leadership Committee, S.T.E.M. Committee, Instructional Team, Parent Association Board, & Interim Acting Principal (12/2014 to 06/2015). As Lead Technology (3 years) and Vanguard Teacher (3 years), I frequently planned & implemented staff development rooted in technology integration & the SAMR model. I also collaborated with other Vanguard Teachers company wide and worked within a 1:1 iPad environment. Throughout the summer months I served as our Camp Coordinator (2011, 2016). Throughout the 2017-18 school year, I embraced a new leadership position as the Lead Literacy-Science Teacher. Within this role, I attended monthly, company-wide calls, implemented staff development, and assisted teachers with deepening their understanding of the NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards). In addition, as a member of the Education Committee, I also assisted with the implementation of a job embedded book study associated around Shift This! where teachers were encouraged to communicate through various technology formats and group discussions.
