Directs a team of project managers with a multi-million-dollar portfolio of mission-critical facility design and construction projects. Provides hands-on project management of our most complex projects, mentorship of the team, and leverages the PM function to support rapid growth and exploit opportunity. Develops strategic relationships with key customers and sub-contractors. Uses and refines KPIs to drive financial and schedule performance of projects.

I have served in a number of progressive staff and leadership positions throughout my career. My leadership experience includes command at both the company and battalion levels as well as leading staffs comprised of personnel from all branches of the DoD and civilian agencies. My staff work includes serving as the Secretary of the General Staff for a 2-star command and as a battalion operations and executive officer. I was selected as the first Junior Officer Consultant for the Reserve Forces Policy Board at the Pentagon and was one of only 2% of officers to be promoted a year early to the rank of Major. My overseas experience includes serving as a Special Operations Task Force Command Engineer where I designed sensitive information facilities, managed multi-million-dollar construction projects, and served as a liaison to foreign militaries and various US agencies. I was also a Command and General Staff College instructor in Europe, where I provided Professional Military Education instruction to US and International Military Students.

Manages a multi-disciplinary, remote/hybrid staff of engineers and technicians supporting design, new technology integration, and modifications to a variety of SOF platforms. Responsibilities include resource allocation, financial performance, staff development, engineering tools development and integration, strategic improvement activities, and design efficacy. Serves as Engineering liaison to cross-functional groups on enterprise-level performance management teams. Manages the Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) and oversees intern and university recruiting efforts.

Managed Customer Service and Product Installation Services departments. Responsibilities included profit/loss for product installation business, new business development, customer success, and staff development. Managed combined budgets of $7.5MM with annual revenue of $35MM and a staff of 91 in 5 states.

Managed a multi-disciplinary team of technical professionals. Responsible for the integration of new products into production, technical support to sales, technology commercialization, and continuous improvement. Resourced the department and tasked individuals to support New Product Introductions in a fast paced, growing business. Reviewed and approved mechanical and structural drawings, lead D-FMEA & P-FMEA activities, ensured project timelines were synchronized with stakeholders, and developed processes to fully integrate engineering, sourcing, quality, and production.

Worked as a mechanical Design Engineer in the Electronic Throttle Products Group. Responsibilities included new product development, development of 3D models and drawings using Solidworks, engineering support of production and quality issues, to include evaluation of Supplier Requests for Engineering Approval, Design of Experiments (DOE) to evaluate potential design change impacts, Statistical Process Control analysis of current and potential production processes, and coordination of sample builds for both internal and external customer approval.
