Most of my work history has been in the realm of education, however, I was often one to assist colleagues and students with understanding the software they were using or troubleshooting minor hardware issues. I enjoyed whenever some new piece of technology was adopted for classroom use, whether it by new computers, document cameras, useful software, or ever improving versions of SmartBoards. Since my time in the classroom, I have taken the plunge to pursue further knowledge pertaining to the world of information technology. My first courses with MyComputerCareer prepared me with a better foundation in fundamental IT skills. Latter courses focused deeper into network, website, and application security. MyComputerCareer also provided me the opportunity to work as a level 1 IT technician, resetting passwords, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and setting up and removing (or deactivating) multiple accounts for on-boarding and off-boarding employees. And, of course, I performed lots and lots of imaging and reimaging of laptops and desktop computers.If you have an open IT position, especially in entry level security, I just may be the "[human] you are looking for". (Yes, that was a Star Wars reference.)
