Chariton L. Pavlidis holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering (awarded in 2021) from the Department of Mechanical Engineering Educators and Mechanical Engineers at the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education in Greece. He has accomplished the Joint Postgraduate Course “Computational Mechanics” with a focus on the Fluid Sector at the School of Chemical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens (Greece). His current contributions involve computational and experimental research, as well as the development of experimental equipment within the Laboratory of Thermo Fluid Systems (LTFS) at the University of West Attica (Greece). His research primarily centers around urban and spatial planning, specifically simulating atmospheric flows and studying the dispersion of hazardous materials in the atmospheric boundary layer. He utilizes Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software and dispersion models, with a strong emphasis on urban microclimate modeling. Additionally, he is currently affiliated with the Laboratory of Thermo Fluid Systems (LTFS) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of West Attica and working at MM Group Consulting Engineer as Mechanical Engineer.
