The library for the City Attorney's Office supports over 200 attorneys and their staff across multiple locations. In addition to maintaining a preeminent collection of specialized and historical municipal legal resources, we provide training, research, and reference services.

I spent 10 months collaborating with over 300 other writers, editors, designers, researchers, and thinkers from 41 countries to create The Carbon Almanac—the definitive source for climate change facts and the basis for a global movement—join us now, it’s not too late.The project was a once-in-a-lifetime gift of connection, learning, teamwork, and a master-class in what leadership in action looks like. Drawing on almost 2,000 data points, the book uses cartoons, quotes, illustrations, tables, histories, and articles to lay out carbon’s impact on our food system, ocean acidity, agriculture, energy, biodiversity, extreme weather events, the economy, human health, and best and worst-case scenarios. I worked with an incredibly dedicated team to ensure all our sources are reliable and accessible, nurtured the Resources Section to life, and contributed some original content. I provide a number of as-needed services to individual clients, including:- Project Coordination: Creating and implementing frameworks for editorial process (Notion) of a global team. For example—developing scope, soliciting expert submissions, editing, and organizing the final layout for print and online content (Discourse); Supervising the source collecting (Zotero), fact-checking, and citation teams.- Non-profit Community Engagement: Working with long-term stakeholders to develop a new Family Program, meeting the evolving needs of the community and expanding access to programming.- Educational Consulting: Strategic Planning, Facilities & Classroom Design, Events & Marketing, Instructional Systems, Educational Programming, Design & Implementation of Curriculum Maps, Parent Education, Using Design Thinking to Foster Change.- Personalized learning support for elementary age students in the areas of reading and writing. - Board President, Parent Organization at Global Montessori International School Revising by-laws of the Global Montessori Parent Organization to provide for succession planning, institutional continuity, and an ongoing improved communication framework.

The Kids and Technology Working Group is comprised of parents and educators, sharing resources and information on topics related to technology and child development. I most recently ran a year-long workshop on Parenting Teens.

The Shu Ren Education Foundation supports inquiry-based Mandarin Immersion education. Together with co-founder Julie Wu, we began the non-profit Shu Ren Education Foundation to increase access to world-class inquiry-based Mandarin Immersion education in the San Francisco Bay Area.We organize community events, host educational speakers, and sponsor student workshops with local and international artists.In addition to legal and operational roles, I guide our strategic planning.

Led transition of legacy product to modern content management system: Developed content authoring and review workflows including editorial standards and guidelines; Designed the UI/UX of customer-facing platform; Coordinated global team of authors.Created standardized Author Guides used for writing encyclopedic entries for common, civil, and mixed-law jurisdictions: Conducted a cross-sectional analysis of key narrative and topical areas; Presented resultant data to cross-functional teams and built consensus on approach; Employed continuous improvement model to incorporate real-world feedback into further refining the Guides

Identified outreach opportunity to implement ‘just-in-time’ research methodology instruction: Engaged target audience (journal staff), developed knowledge management center and corresponding training protocol; Leveraged initial success to build trust and interest in expanded audience (law professors) and cross-trained reference staff in order to scale delivery of annual guest lectures covering legal research, journal tasks, and using UN materialsPreparation of guides and online training materials on Environmental Law Basic Resources, International Organizations, J.D. Writing Requirement and Seminar Papers, and Preemption Checking Curation of the United Nations law collection: Research guidance on United Nations Treaties and the U.C. I assisted in the preparation of a guide to international and foreign law resources. I worked at the law library reference desk, assisting students, professors, and public patrons with their legal research needs.
