I have completed my BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2013. Then, I was employed full-time and worked as an electrical engineer for two reputed manufacturing industries in Bangladesh. In January 2022, I started my MASc in Energy Systems Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, and completed my degree in August 2023. Besides, I worked as a part-time electrical engineer at an engineering firm in St. John’s while pursuing my master’s degree. Recently, I completed my work contract as an electrical engineer for Suncor Energy Inc.'s reliability engineering department. During my professional journey, I executed conventional electrical and instrumentation tasks and handled advanced HMI-controlled PLC-based automation systems, including installation and programming modifications. I managed 11kV/400V substations and HT and LT power distribution panels and performed power system studies to ensure operational safety and reliability. I possess expertise in AC drives (VFD & soft-starter), DC drives, AutoCAD, ETAP, and SAP for Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). My skill set includes developing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, conducting FMEA and RCA, and identifying potential threats to safety and efficiency. I am well-versed in electrical standards such as IEC, IEEE, and CSA C22 and am committed to continuous learning and skill enhancement. Registered as an E.I.T. with PEGNL, I am on the path to obtaining my P.Eng. designation.
