As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, I strive to provide ethical, trauma-informed Applied Behavior Analytical services in home and school setting. I have experience working with a wide range of developmental and social disorders in age groups ranging from early intervention (birth - 3 years), elementary settings, and adolescents. I have a passion for Caregiver Training and Training of Registered Behavior Technicians. With a Graduate Certificate in Teaching Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I pride myself on creating individualized behavior intervention plans to create socially meaningful change in the lives of families and children. I truly believe that "Play is the work of the child" (Maria Montessori) and utilize a Naturalistic Environmental Teaching approach with student-led play to generate natural opportunities where incidental teaching can take place, while utilizing DTT and other evidence-based behavioral tactics. With my bachelors degree in Psychology and my Masters degree in ABA, I value social skill building, social interactions, and group or community engagements. I enjoy conducting numerous skill based assessments (ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PEAK, etc.) and Functional Behavior Assessments / Functional Analysis. I have a positive, never-ending attitude towards continuing education especially in the ABA field. I look forward to completing research in the field and teaching about the application of ABA outside of "just autism" and how ABA can be applied in safe, ethically abiding ways in the normal, day-to-day world and public policy.
