At the end of the day, my job involves interacting with people at one of the most vulnerable points in customer to brand relationships. Within these moments of vulnerability, I love to help build lasting relationships with effective customer service, product expertise, communication, and empathy. Currently, I am working with Rent the Runway to provide sustainability in the fashion industry. My job is to navigate customers through issues and questions by providing the Cinderella experience of customer service. I genuinely enjoy creating positive experiences with customers. As a person of great levels of patience and empathy, I leverage my experience to de-escalate customers in highly stressful situations with customer management, standardized practices, analytical understanding, and teamwork for unique situations. While I am not where I expected in my career, I’ve come to be proud of my journey thus far. I started my academic career as a computer science undergraduate learning about data science with the hopes of becoming a data analyst. Along the way, I fell in love with providing a positive experience on a person to person level. As I continue to grow in my career, I hope to grow into a position where I leverage data science as a tool to leverage for bettering customer experiences.
