Micah Eggleton is currently an Environmental and Water Resources Planner at Woodard & Curran. He earned a MS in Environmental Science and Management with a Specialization in Water Resources from the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, UCSB in 2016. He also earned a BS in Environmental Science and Management, Emphasizing in Natural Resources Management, with a Minor in Geology from UC Davis in 2013. Micah Eggleton has begun his career in the Water and Environmental Resources Field. Skills include:• Large project management for environmental compliance and public documents such as Groundwater Sustainability Plans, Integrated Regional Watershed Management Plans, and CEQA documents • Public outreach, communication, and training in facilitating stakeholder and public input for regional programs• Experience with CEQA, NEPA, SGMA, IRWMs, EIRs, and Water Policy• Grant writing experience with over $6 million in grant awards for clients• Field Experience in water quality monitoring, vegetation monitoring and erosion control consultation• Knowledge and experience of ArcGIS & related software; GPS; Word/Ppt/Excel• Excellent organizational and project execution skills• Able to work easily, comfortably, and supportively with others• First aid & CPR, wilderness, navigation, Wilderness First Aid trained• Initiative; able to “get things done” with minimal supervision Outside of work, Micah volunteers as an Emergency Medical Services responder at community events around the Sacramento area, and is an active participant in the Community Emergency Response Team. Previous volunteer work included a year-long service with Americorps serving in the Sierra Nevada at the El Dorado County and Georgetown Divide Resource Conservation Districts, camp counselor for UC Davis Camp Kesem, and various participating with BSA as an Eagle Scout.
