Joint Staff: 03/2008 – 10/2008I worked with the Joint Staff on a Cognos enterprise solution for the Joint Staff reporting requirements. I generated and submitted the System Identification Profile for IBM Cognos BI 8 in accordance with the DOD Information and accreditation Process. I upgraded all instances of Cognos to Cognos 8.3 at the Joint Staffs integration labs.

As Principle Web Developer for CIO managed web sites, I supported web sites managed by the JS directorates. I was the Joint Staff subject matter expert/advisor for web policy, design, and content management I was Customer liaison with multiple Joint Staff Directorates at several levels. In addition, I monitored new, evolving technologies and tools, and recommended their use in support of multi-domain production and dissemination of Joint Staff information.I worked with the EMC engineers to deliver the JSIN-TS EMC Documentum eRoom into the production environment. My primary task was to determine whether integration test activities were sufficiently defined, designed, assigned, and scheduled, and that the schedule was consistent with the time frame available have implementing the new Decision Support Environment (DSE) which is comprised various web enable tools for collaboration. I have brought in to the production environment the EMC Documentum eRoom. I designed the layout and graphics for the Joint Staff Classified Vignette portal. I redesigned the Joint Staff Unclas web site (www.jcs.mil) – 140,000 hits daily. I supported all Directorates (J1 - J8, and DOM) and maintained and implemented an interactive web based tasker application for the Joint Staff. This included application development tasks through the entire life cycle development process from the initiation phase to the operations and maintenance phases. Additionally, I worked with the JSIL engineers to deliver the JSIN-U JSEP Portal where my primary task was to ensure that integration test activities were sufficiently defined, designed, assigned, and scheduled, and delivered on time. I also delivered the new JSIN WEB site architecture. To ensure that services are fault tolerant and survivable in the event of a disaster, I redesigned and implemented AAM solution to SAN on all Joint Staffs classified web servers with MS Server2 003and IIS 6.
