Colin is currently attending the University of British Columbia, specializing in Computational and Numerical Methods in the Masters of Mechanical Engineering program.Colin graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology's (BCIT) Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering program in June of 2021. Colin is currently employed as a Research Assistant with BCIT's Mechanical Engineering department. Colin is working with a team aiming to reduce HVAC system energy consumption through the use of artificial intelligence and deep learning algorithms. Colin is also the team lead in charge of writing an academic research paper which will be published in an engineering journal near the end of August 2021.Colin also has years of experience working for the municipal government in multiple technical roles. Colin is currently employed as a Utility Control Room Operator at the City of Coquitlam where he monitors and controls various municipal utility systems. In this role, Colin is also in charge of resolving customer inquiries by dispatching engineering crews, and directly replying to customers. Colin works very closely with upper management on a daily basis.
