I worked as a research scientist that was involved with both the breeding and molecular biology side of FRBs breeding operations. during my employment, I was lead inventor on three utility patents surrounding genetic marker assisted breeding and pathogen detection in Cannabis and hemp. Furthermore my work with FRB had led to peer reviewed publications as well as helping further my understanding how to commercialize and apply metabolomics research in Cannabis and Coffee. I also assisted in the development of one of the first 1:1 THCV:THC varieties of Cannabis, as well as many other unique terpene, cannabinoid, and flavonoid profiles.My job was multifaceted as I was brought in to perform bioinformatics to develop novel genetic markers, but also found myself assisting with sample labeling, collection, and testing as well ascreating a phenotypic data system within PhenomeOne to implement in the indoor and greenhouse breeding facilities.

Working remotely as part of the genetics research & development team. Focused in gene discovery, genotype-phenotype correlation, and designing high-throughput screening methods. Writing and troubleshooting Bash, Python, Perl, and R Scripts for large genetic and transcriptomic data analysis and presentation. Familiar with with AWS management, storage, and use.

I worked with patients throughout their eye exam and glasses fitting appointments. This included welcoming patients, performing opthalmology tests, billing eye and medical insurance under ICD-10 codes, and inventory management for trial contacts and other office supplies.

Teaching Position - I was recommended for the Upward Bound Summer Program to teach an ACT Math Preparation Course. Classroom Experience - I organized and taught classes throughout the summer of 20-30 high school juniors and seniors. Additionally, I was able to substitute teach for many other subjects throughout this summer.The Upward Bound Program gave underprivileged individuals the opportunity to get ahead in school and learn throughout the summer.

Class Attendance - I had taught a supplemental instruction course twice that has allowed me to explain any concept of Macroeconomics covered in this course. Leadership Experience - I planned and led a group of 5-15 students before each class to review material and introduce new material that would be covered. Educational Experience - I was trained to tutor students with various disabilities, including ADD, ADHD, and Austism, as well as the three learning styles.

Daily Responsibilities - I managed appointments, planned sessions, and effectively tutored students from various backgrounds. Versatility - There were over ten subjects that I would be responsible to tutor and would have to switch from one subject to another quickly to help as many students as possible. Special Skills - I have worked with special needs students, excelled students, and students who lack the motivation to do well in school.
