I'm currently finishing my M.Sc.A. at Polytechnique Montréal on the developpment of a novel active carrier for the braiding of composite textiles. My professors and I are currently in the process of filing a patent for the technology. During my research project, I had to design the mechanical structure of the novel carrier and the electrical schematic of all the components. I also had to program the on-board Linux computer to receive and send commands via Wifi using the MQTT protocol. During this project, I discovered a fascination for programming and for the Internet of Things field. I am also very interrested by drones applications and robotics. During my bachelors in mechanical engineering, I had a robotics course where we learned how to implement forward and inverse kinematics for various actuators. This made me very interrested by the field of robotics.
