Ensures all products and service contracts utilized by any Health System entity supports its mission and help attain its goals while meeting all regulatory and legal requirements. Develops and oversees implementation of strategies and polices related to sourcing, contract administration, and vendor management. Relies on experience and judgement to lead Supply Chain professionals, exceed customer expectations, and be accountable for ensuring appropriate controls and performance are achieved.1. Contract Management - System leader for strategic Sourcing and vendor relationship management - Chief negotiator with vendors regarding pricing, service, payment terms, and regulatory requirements.- Develops, maintains, and oversees data and contract lifecycle management systems. - Leads all aspects of the contract process coordinating with department managers to determine needs as related to products, contracts, and services.2. Data Analysis and Reporting- Leads analysis of supply cost trends using benchmarks to make recommendations regarding potential contracting opportunities. - Accountable for tracking system to document cost/benefit of supply, service, and capital equipment procurement decisions.3. Leadership Roles- Leads Supply Review Committees to identify contracting and standardization opportunities4. Policies / Procedures & Regulatory / Compliance - Manages process for development of RFx and analyzes responses for total delivered value. - Accountable for monitoring compliance for policies and procedures relative to vendor relations. - Develops & maintains, in collaboration with General Counsel, standard contract terms to address organizational and regulatory requirements.5. Other Duties as Assigned - Hires, trains, evaluates, counsels, and ensures effective utilization of personnel as assigned. - Consultant to internal customers on contract process, protocol, and best practices.
