I am a Senior Customer Experience Engineer with the Microsoft Advanced Cloud Engineering (ACE)​ Program for the Cloud + AI organization. The Azure Advanced Cloud Engineering (ACE) Program mission is to ensure world-class support customer experiences for all Azure customers across all delivery channels​. The ACE Program was established in October 2017 in response to the explosive growth of Azure adoption in the marketplace. Customers from our S500 commercial business and US Government sector required a streamlined path to engage Microsoft Azure Engineering, direct expert/SME involvement and an overall reduction in support time to resolution.The Azure Customer Engineer serves as the customer advocate for our onboarded ACE customers and represents the customer's voice for problems negatively impacting the customer's business environments, product improvement requests and guiding the expansion of the customer's Azure footprint. The primary function is to alleviate customer pain through consistent and timely speed to resolution, risk mitigation for active issues, and issue prevention. The ACE Program creates a Know Me support experience that is customized to meet the unique needs of the customer.In addition to being trusted advisors for their customers, Azure Customer Engineers collaborate with Microsoft teams to identifies issue patterns on reported issues and partner with engineering colleagues to drive Azure platform improvements.

As Lead Software Engineer, I am managing six custom code bases including the one I built from scratch. My team of four is responsible for integrating seven different platforms, each with its own silo of work: ERP, WMS, POS, Logistics, Reporting, and Manufacturing. My team is using Agile, and I am Scrum master. We’re using Azure DevOps for repos, Kanban, and CI/CD.

I write middleware that facilitates data exchange. That means consuming REST and SOAP APIs, and direct DB access DB drivers for MySQL. I have also written an Intranet site that provides UI for inventory, fulfillment, and accounting. I'm leveraging a wide variety of Microsoft Azure products and services to offer solutions to virtually every department of our company. I'm using MVC, Azure SDK, C#, WebForms, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.

I am developing applications and reports using VB.Net, MVC3, JQuery, and ActiveReports 7.
