Owner of PRS Computer Services, LLC for IT Consulting. Primarily providing IT services to the City of Taylorsville and Hale Centre Theatre in Sandy, Utah. --City of Taylorsville--Implemented a new VSAN for primary network storage. Virtualized the server environment to a VMware infrastructure. Completed a Cohesity cluster for secondary storage, which also was purposed to serve as the backup of the virtualized environment.--Hale Centre Theatre--Played a key role in the network topology design of the new Hale Centre Theatre in Sandy, Utah. Planned and carried out the moving of all IT infrastructure from the West Valley location to the new Sandy location with zero business hours downtime.

Managed the Information Systems Department, which is responsible for providing IT services to all city departments and facilities. Evolved Lehi City server environment from a physical topology to a complete virtualized server infrastructure. Negotiated a longstanding relationship with CentraCom, providing dark fiber for the city to use for building-to-building connectivity as well as redundancy for ISP, VOIP trunks, and off-site to Richfield Datacenter. Migrated and consolidated multiple solutions onto a Palo Alto Networks Hardware Appliance for firewall, IDS/IPS, Application Identification, VPN, Network Segmentation, URL Filtering, and Malware Protection.

Brought in to ensure that technology used internally for sales, support, and administrative teams did not restrain from advancing company objectives and growth. Decommissioned the original SOHO infrastructure and implemented an enterprise-grade network. Completed a Microsoft Exchange implementation, delivering on an overdue request for external email access, which was not available previously. Planned and executed all IT related components of migrating the financial database from Peachtree to Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains). This also served as the new warehouse management system, with pick-and-ship, for three geographically dispersed warehouses.

Migrated critical data from parent company (MBM Leasing) and built new network environment to comply with IRS regulations for 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. Network consisted of enterprise-grade equipment; servers, switches, telephony, desktops, laptops, wireless, etc. Performed a ground-up implementation of a new enterprise-grade telephony PBX for call center routing of inbound/outbound calls.

Directed the IT department, which provided technology services to five separate financial companies; non-profit credit counseling, call center, mortgage broker, accounting services, and management company. Planned and implemented the build-out of a new datacenter and workspace for relocation to downtown Salt Lake City. Managed and maintained an outbound dialer system utilizing an OC3 circuit to provide telephony connectivity for the outbound call center. Configured a PXE boot system imaging solution to build pc system images for a high employee turnover environment.
