Based in the Tees Valley in a purpose built centre, C-STATE will offer through its partners, an extensive range of subsea courses from apprenticeships to further and higher education, and industry recognised and accredited training.Trainees have direct, hands on access to a dedicated 200hp hydraulic ROV in a safe, controlled and cost effective environment; combined with classroom based training for all courses. Accredited training is being delivered by subsea industry leading specialist Maritime Training and Competence Solutions (MTCS Ltd) with the first courses going live in January 2014.Subsea education curriculum is being developed by Darlington College and Teesside University with courses planned to commence roll out during 2014. Based on the Darlington College campus, C-STATE benefits from access to extended on-site facilities including cafeterias, restaurants and a host of other services.C-STATE is being developed for industry and education and is a collaboration between Modus, Teesside University and Darlington College.
