Timothy "Tim" Gary formed Crux Strategies in November of 2015 with a national law firm as its first investor. Tim serves as the CEO as well as a Member of Crux Strategies. Crux Strategies has grown into a national boutique strategy firm providing strategic business consulting, analytics and government relations services. Prior to forming Crux Strategies, Tim joined the law firm of Adams and Reese in 2009 as a Partner to serve on the Health Care and Governmental Relations teams. He led the Health Care Practice for the firm from 2010 through 2015 after years of leadership in the private health care and insurance industries. He is the former Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of a national health and wellness company providing population health management services to mid to large-size employers and health insurance companies throughout the United States. As COO, Tim was responsible for the overall management and financial status of the company. His significant contributions include:- Serving as Vice President and General Counsel for the largest Medicaid managed care organization in Tennessee.-Negotiated $650,000,000.00 contract between BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee and HCA.-Negotiated a $5,000,000,000.00 contract between the largest health insurance company in Tennessee and the State of Tennessee. - Arranged financing to acquire and operate rural hospitals in Tennessee. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
