I have worked in IT for over 20 years, beginning in technical roles and growing into senior management positions that would oversee all IT operations for one of the largest healthcare providers in the state of Alaska, Southcentral Foundation (SCF) . I am now in the role of an Enterprise Architect providing guidance on solutions and technology investments, road-mapping the future for IT service offerings and ensuring the success of department and corporate goals. I have a broad technical and managerial background to draw from which allows me to tie technology solutions to improvement opportunities and to provide direction and depth to a digital business strategy. In my new role as Enterprise Architect I am able to directly support the new CIO of the organization but also other IT leaders and key stakeholders throughout the organization. This new role will be challenging and fulfilling as I keep pace with the incredible rate of change in the tech industry as well as an organization that constantly continues to focus on improvement and growth. I feel excited about the future that we are working to build within the IT department, Southcentral Foundation, and ultimately how we provide quality healthcare to the customer-owners we serve.SCF is an internationally recognized agency for driving innovation in health care delivery that is patient and family centered, offering the Nuka Institute program as a way of showing outside agencies the unique SCF Nuka model of care. SCF is also the 2011 Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award winner in the healthcare category.
