As part of the Senior Asda team I was responsible for key strategic work streams as well as formulating strategy for desktop, mobile and tablet & being a key contributor to our Global Grocery eCommerce strategy. Reporting to the VP Ecommerce I led the Online Grocery Team at Asda with turnover of ~£900m. P&L accountability, Trading, Merchandising, Design and Customer experience. Building strategy, with specific emphasis on m-commerce and social media. Working closely with our Global teams on new enhancements and continuous improvement. Leading personalisation integration and negotiating supplier joint business plans.

I managed the Digital team for the Asda Groceries website, and Web design team for the Asda Groceries and Direct websites. Focus on driving sales, profitability and managing events online. Working closely with suppliers and external agencies to optimise website performance, whilst also pushing conversion, and playing an important role in the strategy of web development and customer engagement through CRM. Customer acquisition, and retention responsibilities. Managing a team of 16 highly motivated colleagues.

Managed the Online Grocery Trading team with responsibility for Content Management, Basket Size and Sales.

My main focus was on systems and in particular the implementation of ecommerce systems within stores / pick centres. Managed a team of 15 colleagues to ensure right first time implementation. Specialties - Project Management, Systems, Recruitment.
