Traveling to the various D.R. Horton, Inc. Division offices, implementing the new DHI Sales application. Duties include, but are not limited to: implementation of software solution by assisting with business rule definitions; conducting workflow verification testing; creating User Acceptance Test Scripts, performing User Acceptance Testing and supporting system enhancements relative to user feedback; configuration and installation of application and deliverance of training sessions to end-users.

After receiving the Top Tech Exec Award for a Large Corporation from Cox Communications in Las Vegas, I was promoted to Operations/IT Manager for a much smaller division within D.R. Horton. This required me to relocate to the Rio Grande Valley area in South Texas where I am responsible for all day-to-day Operations, including, but not limited to Accounting, Marketing and Information Technology. I am currently restructuring the Accounting department with my recent implementation of DocuSphere, an Accounting Document Imaging software that integrates with JDEdwards, encompassing workflow and storage capabilities. My most recent Marketing accolades include renegotiating contracts for all signage and billboards, while maintaining the divisions website and all Marketing collateral, from e-Blast to ordinary grassroots flyers. Since winning the Top Tech award, my IT prowess has been fairly idle, due to the company's adaptation of software applications developed in part, by me, during my tenure in Las Vegas.

Streamlined procedures within the organization by making process improvements and system enhancement recommendations, leveraging best practices, including ERP integration and SQL/DTS packet automation. Collaborated with consultants to produce a suite of homebuilder software which consisted of seven (7) Lotus Notes Databases, available in a connected or disconnect LAN/WAN environment. Also responsible for implementation of software solutions by assisting with business rule definitions; conducting workflow verification testing; Created User Acceptance Test Scripts; Performed User Acceptance Testing and supported system enhancements relative to user feedback; installation of applications and deliverance of training sessions to end-users for applications.Lead application design sessions to define the hardware and software for the implementation of an 802.11 wireless environment incorporating Cisco PIX and WAP peripherals. Exceeded expectations by delivering the project task deliverables within 90 days, while confining within budget constraints.Solely responsible for incorporating C128 & P470 bar-coded purchase orders in PDF format retrievable by trade-partners via the internet.
