Hired talent to fit the role. Handled multimillion dollar CAPEX• Capital Investment Management of over INR 3000 million in a Green Field Project• Setting up of the Finance & Control structure at the Centre- resource & workflow• Identifying critical business activities and putting in place controls to ensure business continuity• Optimum Tax Planning of the Centre & getting EOU license for the company• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, yearly financial closing – Balance sheet, Profit and Loss Account and Cash Flows. To act as a custodian of all the Factory Assets•Instituting internal financial controls and SOPs in all the areas and ensuring their continued existence; by doing periodic checks & process audits.•Planning funds requirements, and ensuring that sufficient excise balances and cash/bank funds are available on a day-to-day basis, keeping tight control over these balances. •Ensuring that the records/returns required under various commercial laws are kept/submitted properly and up-to-date, and also ensuring that various commercial laws (eg: Excise, Sales Tax, VAT, TDS, Service Tax, etc) are complied with.
