The Sr Financial Business Analyst (COGS Planner) is responsible for cost of goods budgeting, performance evaluation, analysis, internal & external reporting and identifying risk & opportunities. Work closely with business teams including operations finance, new unit & bond evaluation, supplier development, optimizing cost, business case modelling and various business reviews. This role handles capex budgeting and reporting process as well. The position also drives simplification and automation in the overall planning and reporting process.

Responsible for following:  Responsible for all facets of Financial, Taxation and Accounting activities for the Plant. Heading Finance Functions in determining financial objectives, preparing budgets and forecasting to assist planning, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures. Preparation of Business Plan for 5 years, revised every year for next five years including Income Statements, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow. The forecasting on quarterly basis. Implementing Internal Financial Control and instituting Internal Control Systems viz. Receivables, Payables, Treasury, Inventory as well as maintaining a constant control over Overhead Expenses. Implementing systems, procedures & manuals for preparation & maintenance of statutory Books of Accounts & Financial Statements, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Monitoring preparation of statutory Books of Accounts, Financial Statements, General Ledger reconciliations and Consolidated of Accounts as per target dates specified by Group office. Provide broad financial, analytical and business support in preparing the financial roadmap for business growth having direct responsibility for implementing and maintaining controls in line with U.S. and local GAAP requirements and Magna accounting policies. Consolidation, MIS & Reporting to India Management and Group Company. Budget Tracking, Variance Analysis; Monthly Financials Release. Statutory Compliances of all Direct & Indirect Taxation matters. Bank Liaisoning, Working Capital Management and analysis of cash flow statements on Monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis for proper reporting and control. Analyze the Capital Expenditure for new projects, reporting and advising Management by analyzing  NPV / IRR, ROFE, NPV and Payback period of the proposed capex. Active involvement in implementation of SAP systems for the Sanand Plant. SOX and IGAAP Controls Compliance.

The responsibilities included all the actitivities related to statutory audit starting from ensuring legal formalities related to appointment as an auditors till all tasks including but not limited to planning , execution, review of financial statements.
