At present, ICAI has over 600 employees (permanent) serving more than 2,85,000 members and 8,00,000 students across the nation. Main Duties: Key responsibilities are - Interpret and translate financial statements to drive strategic and successful profession decisions and growth; provide guidance to the profession using best practice in cash flow analysis. - Development of financial reports for trending, forecasting and results analysis that enable the management to effectively challenge costs and inform decision-making. - Evaluate and appraise large and complex investments/ capital expenditures. - Evaluating alternative courses of action, and making specific recommendations. - Benchmarking internal performance against external indicators and apply best practice to the profession. - Assist line management in preparing action plans for identified areas of improvement; own and drive the use of key performance indicators (KPIs) and accurate, timely and forward-looking management information. - Analysis of various economic indicators and their impact upon various goals/strategies/ services of the institute. - Development of Case Studies. Details of Wok Carried Out Board of Studies is the primary Educational Wing of the Institute and the main source of revenue. It is responsible for formulating and implementing the policies and programs relating to the education of students pursuing Chartered Accountancy course. There are no separate ‘management accounting’ department in the institute and most the activities are carried out through BoS only.
