Direct TaxationAfter performing extensive legal research, drafted 75+ Appeals to the CIT(A) and ITAT for both listed as well as unlisted clients in various industries, including a conglomerate group with market cap of more than $200 billion (as on July, 2022), on both factual and legal grounds (incl under the Faceless Appeal Scheme).Drafted appeal and comprehensive synopsis for a Government undertaking involving addition to income of more than ₹292.74 crores and tax demand of more than ₹140.12 crores thereon.Prepared written submissions against show-cause notice issued by A.O. and to CIT(A) in response to hearing notice u/s 250 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (“the Act”) including application for additional evidence u/r 46A of the Income Tax Rules, 1962 and rejoinder to remand report totaling more than 100 incl search & seizure cases.Analysed and researched 300+ judicial pronouncements, taking into account their effects on various clients.Prepared working of contingent liability relating to Tax litigation pending at various forums incl.
