I am a co-founder of a homemade pickle business that I launched in August 2021, leveraging my skills and experience as a chartered accountant. I have successfully managed and grown the business, achieving a turnover of approximately Rs. 600,000 within a short timeframe and establishing relationships with five dedicated retail shops. I have also implemented cost-effective production methods, expanded the product line, and created and executed marketing strategies to increase brand visibility.Prior to starting my own venture, I worked as a junior manager (accounts) at The Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd (Supplyco) for three years, where I prepared and reviewed financial statements, trained and supervised junior accounting staff, conducted internal audits, verified and reconciled financial data, and assisted in the implementation of accounting systems and internal controls. I also gained hands-on experience in income tax return preparation, tax planning, and responding to tax authorities' queries as an articled assistant at Venugopal&Co, Chartered Accountants for three years.My mission is to use my financial accounting, internal audits, and financial reporting skills to contribute to the growth and success of organizations in various sectors, especially FMCG and retail, where I have developed a domain expertise.
