 Managing Internal Audit of the entire group consist of 55 stores across Brands in 8 counties (Portfolio includes Forever 21, Cotton On, Typo, Rubi, Body and 3ina in Middle East, Far East) Ensure independence and objectivity during the audit and report all of our findings without any influence of the management. Independently responsible for compliance across all nations which includes finalization of VAT returns and other compliance reports. Assisting CFO to manage entire bank facilities across all territories, this includes OD, Import Loan, short term / long term etc. Responsible for VAT across all the retail companies in UAE & KSA from planning, internal controls, procedures, policies and guidelines for finance and operations team. Practical knowledge of compliance with VAT legislations. Reconciliation of VAT Output & Input credit and finalize the final payment amount on quarterly basis, preparation of VAT working for payment, Filing of VAT return, Preparation of documents & working for refund of VAT. Weekly and Monthly preparation of the Budgeted cash flow at starting of the year and identifying deviations monthly basis. Give representation to Management for decision making. Variance Analysis (Budget / Actual) report consisting reasons for the same. Taking care of treasury function and coordinating with bank for long term and short funding for the company. Also converting short term loans into revolving loan for smooth operational of the day to day payments. And other liaison with RM for changing Bank signatory mandate.  Liaison with auditor for Indian companies closure / completion of pending previous year audit / clearance of open assessment income tax cases / filing of GST / TDS return.  Coordinating Insurance companies and negotiate with them for all retail store’s insurance. Handling Money insurance, Business interruption, all property risk & public liability insurance for middle east. Prepare working for the same for the premium.

 Credit facilities reconciliation between Banks position sheets and Books of account of various banks on monthly basis to arrive actual outstanding and communicated with corporate finance team in obtaining confirmation. Assist in Reviewing the current budgetary and accounting policies of the company and suggest the changes if any. Prepare Management Reports to examine operating expenses of the company and suggest the corrective action, as and when required Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts comprises of Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement and its notes to the Management on a consolidated basis of two subsidiaries. Compliance with the provision of WHT (withholding tax), prepare working for payment of tax liabilities, file tax returns and submit the amount of tax withheld to the tax authorities within due date. Understanding of DTAA (Double Tax Avoidance Agreement) Treaty with between various countries to avoid a double taxation and to get understanding about the withholding tax implications on remittance to different countries which covered under the various Articles of Treaty.

Manage the Working Capital of the Company, daily observation of AR & AP Improve Accounts payable approval process reducing late fees from 40 % to 10 %. Monthly MIS and presentation to management for returns generated, deviations with actual and budgeted returns, and future forecast about the fund availability and new Investment Plans.
