Role entails: - Conducting onsite testing for ensuring the effectiveness of internal control as per Sox’s perspective for Royal Philips worldwide specifically units located in LATAM, NAM, Europe and APAC region.- Preparation of Process Flow Charts, Risk and Control Matrix (RCM) for the identified key controls at Unit level across the various Product Divisions. - Independent testing of Critical Financial related as well as IT related Controls at Unit level (Factories, Commercial Organizations) at locations spread over the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. Responsibilities included leading a team of professionals, one-on-one interaction with the Senior Management of the Country Organizations and Monitoring and consolidation of Control deficiencies.- Integrating Philips Internal Control Standards (based on COSO Framework) and SOx ensuring seamless integration of SOx into day-to-day business operations. - Liaising and coordinating with KPMG (Statutory Auditors) and for successful compliance with SOx requirements.- Rationalizing the critical controls at process level using a risk-based approach - streamlining the number of key controls and also to enable controls to be performed at a higher level in the value chain, leading to significant compliance efficiencies & cost reduction.- Rendering Quality Assurance to the Units to standardize the quality of documentation.- Mentoring team members & new joinees.

Roles and Responsibility:- Statutory, limited review, internal, tax & special audit, analysing and streamlining existing systems and procedures, reporting important irregularities for follow up action and rectification.- Preparing audit reports with a view to highlight the audit results including shortcomings and providing necessary recommendations

Roles and Responsibility:- Preparation of financial statements and other year end schedules to finalise the books.- Preparation of Cash Flow, Budget, Sales Analysis, Pricing analysis.- To manage creditors and debtors- Preparation of Monthly Profit and Loss Account and other Management Accounts- Preparation of Income Tax Returns.- Preparation of pay roll for the employees.- To Liaison with Bank for Letter of Credit and for other Facilities- To Liaison with VAT, Income Tax, and other Governmental Authorities.- Monitoring, training and educating the staff in achievement of Organizational Goals.
