During working with Luthra & Luthra LLP as a Tax Assistant, I was responsible for managing various aspects of direct tax compliances for both corporates and non-corporates. My duties included preparing and filing income tax returns for corporates & high net worth individuals, handling income tax notice reply, rectification, and refund requests, preparing appeals for submission to CIT(A), managing TDS/TCS returns, and reviewing the work of a team of 5-6 articles.One of my primary responsibilities was to ensure that corporates and non-corporates were in compliance with the relevant tax regulations and filing requirements. This involved preparing and filing income tax returns for both types of clients, ensuring that all required information was included, and that they were submitted on time.Another significant aspect of my role was to handle income tax notice reply, rectification, and refund requests for clients. This involved analyzing tax notices, preparing appropriate responses, and filing rectification requests or appeals, where necessary, for submission to the CIT(A).Additionally, I managed TDS/TCS returns and tax calculations for clients, ensuring that they were in compliance with the relevant regulations.
