Roles & responsibilities at Jaypee Group, Noida:Managing all financial accounting, finalization & taxation work with a team of three Accountants for following companies -1) Jaypee Sports International Limited (Formula One Race & Real Estate)2) Jaypee Cement Hockey (India) Limited (Hockey Team)3) Jaypee Cement Cricket (India) Limited (Cricket team)4) Jaypee Ganga Industrial Corporation Limited.(Highway Project)5) Jaypee Agra Vikas Limited (For Development of Circle Road Around TAJ MAHAL)Service Tax & VAT:- Determination of taxability or otherwise of various services- Calculation of service tax & VAT, WCT liability & reconciliation thereof with books. - Payment of Tax as Calculated within due dates.- Preparation of base files for return & submission of return.- Issue of import declaration form in VAT- Determination of availability or otherwise of CENVAT credit on various inputs & servicesDirect Taxation Matters: Assist taxation team in- Calculation of TDS liability & reconciliation thereof with books. - Payment of tax as calculated within due dates.- Preparation of base files for return & submission of return, Issue of TDS Certificate.- Calculation of MAT, Direct tax assets & liability.- Preparation of reply to Income Tax department.- Preparation of notes, incorporating the provisions of law, judicial pronouncements and grounds.Finance & Accounts: - Finalisation, consolidatation,scrutinizing Trial Balance,Preparing Grouing & Notes to accounts of five companies of Jaypee Group.- Controlling & authorizing day to day accounting Activities in SAP environment;- Processing of RA bills and preparing for payment thereof;- Finalization of Trial & Preparation of Balance Sheet as per Companies Act;- Making monthly MIS asked by Management;- Reconciling general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information - Bank reconciliation and consolidated reports in compliance with time & accuracy norms.
