CurrentMy role entails managing accounting operations, direct and indirect taxation, banking, statutory compliances, risk management, and financial reporting in a shared services set-up. It also includes some degree of vendor management, commercial negotiations, managing cross-border issues, and communications.KRA's• Provide leadership and direction to the finance & accounting team. o Selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the functiono Partnering closely with the U.S. Finance leadership teamo Supporting senior stakeholders in all business reviewso Managing the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processo Generating reports & analysis to assist in decision makingo Managing banking relationships, cash management, and other treasury related activitieso Ensuring compliance with financial processes, systems, and policieso Providing oversight on tax, internal controls, and audit-related matters• Financial accounting, consolidation, and reporting as per India GAAP and US GAAP• Manage internal and statutory auditors• Regulatory filings and compliances for the geographies handled• Ensure compliance with the law, Corporate IT Returns, Statutory Compliances • Ensure internal control systems for various functions P2P, R2R, O2C, etc.• Oversee the company’s finance IT system controls and configurations • Implement and enhance risk management programs of the company policies • Implement and update Finance related policies
