As a Finance Consultant I work with the Head of Finance and report to various stakeholders, including the World Bank, the Ministry, the Comptroller and Auditor General. I handle the preparation and auditing of the financial accounts of the authority and its projects, ensuring compliance and transparency. I also manage the accounts payable, internal control, risk management, and tax consultancy functions, providing guidance and support to the regional offices across India.I have a strong background in financial accounting, auditing, and taxation, with a M.Com degree in commerce from Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University and a Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. I have a demonstrated history of working in the government and public sector industries, conducting statutory and internal audits, and advising on direct and indirect taxes.
