To monitor and support the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's (GIRoA) efforts in building up a functioning financial management and accountability system. This includes monitoring expenditure incurred by the Government of Afghanistan under national recurrent budget at Ministry Level and sub-units, and review compliance of expenditures incurred by the government with Grant Agreements entered with Donors, approved national budget, Fiduciary Standards, Afghanistan’s Financial Management Laws and Regulations and Afghanistan’s National Procurement Laws and Regulations.

To provide a reasonable assurance to UNDP, LOTFA donors and Ministry of Interior Afghanistan (MoIA) that LOTFA funding advanced to MoIA through the Minstry of Finance (MoF) is being used for the intended purpose and that correct amount are being disbursed to and are being received by the right beneficiaries. This included ensuring compliance with Fiduciary Standards, approved budget, Afghan Goverment Financial Laws and Regulations and Afghan National Procurement Laws and Regulations

• Working with diverse group of clients for providing auditing, tax and financial consultancy services. Audits of public sector units, government undertakings, donor funded government projects, banks and financial institutions. • Conduct audit function, planning and preparation of programs for audit and consulting engagements, finalization of audit, quality control, report preparation and presentation, design and review of internal control and accounting system in organisations. Perform Legal, Nepal Accounting Standards (NAS) and IAS/ IFRS compliance test.
