The Market Associate position is the foundation of the Expedia Market Management team. My responsibility is to educate hotel partners about Expedia marketplace, identify and implement strategic initiatives, ensure our hotel product is competitive, relevant, and attractive while improving business metrics. • Resolve rate and inventory discrepancies for over 500 properties in Mississippi and Louisiana • Develop and maintain strong collaborative partner relationships to exceed internal and external goals• Optimize content, rate, and availability competitiveness within Expedia's portfolio to maximize customer conversion• Secure additional inventory during high demand and compression periods to match consumer demand• Secure additional value adds and promotions to support the brands'​ merchandising and marketing efforts• Educate hotel partners about Expedia Partner Central and all the self service features it contains• Support Expedia’s business development and fast-growing, global customer base by continuously acquiring new hotel partners
