My passion is numbers. And when I started college, I thought that meant my only options were a career in Finance or Accounting. Boy, was I wrong! During college, I slowly learned that I prefer taking the numbers off the page and crafting the story behind them. I love baseball. The sport is all about numbers. But my favorite part about it isn't knowing a hitter's batting average or a pitcher's ERA. My favorite part is that I get to watch the story of those numbers unfold right in front of my eyes as the players take the field and play the game every night. I love piano. Music is a constant cycle of counting 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4. But my favorite part is definitely not counting to four over and over again. My favorite part is that my very own digits get to bring to life notes that are strung together to form a story called music. So with all that being said, my passion for numbers has landed me in a career in research and data analysis. Finding what these numbers on a piece of paper can do for an individual or for a company is powerful. And I love finding the power.
