Working with a bright and passionate group in the Account Management Team, I was embedded in their day to day processes to worked with them side by side to standardize business processes and create a order entry strategy. Equipped with a solid Change Management plan and a conscientious effort to minimize business interruption, we implemented process changes and an order entry system that reduced entry errors and increased data input efficiencies by over 250% in one business stream. In March 2019 we transitioned our first customers to an improved Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system that realized the benefits in the integration of customer purchase order data into our systems. The additional customer data lays down a foundation for us to build order processing rules to improve the Order to Cash fulfillment cycle. As our organization looks to the future we leveraged our order entry system to process new transactions that will increase quantity of data processed by over 300% integrating the systems into a new facility and building our Order to Cash process. In working with our Quality Assurance department, I have taken on the role of implementation and support of our new QA application across all our facilities. Each implementation is slightly different and I have to work with assessing current state and managing change for the user. The QA application required requirement gathering and analysis to allow us to integrate the Certificate of Analysis into our shipping process. This phase of the application lifecycle documented the different processes at each site and paved a way to a standardized process. Show less

I co-authored the Change Management Strategy and Plans, supported system stabilization by leveraging current applications and changing behavioural patterns through business process reviews, training, and communication. One of developments I enjoyed researching was the development of a file that users could upload into SAP to create their user menu of commonly used transaction codes. This initiative resulted in reducing total training time by 2 hours for over 600 users, was leveraged in all go-live support manuals, and incorporated into the SAP software Change Release process at WRHA.I received my first experience into LEAN management principles as a core member of a Rapid Improvement Project for the Cardiology Program at St. Boniface Hospital. The objective was to work with a team of health care professionals and a former patient gather design and process requirements for the Cardiac Care Unit in order to meet governing body re-certification requirements. In 2015, through a process that required a written submission to a leadership committee, I was one of two WRHA staff selected into the Leadership Winnipeg Program offered through the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce. This experience was surreal. I was introduced to many great leaders and success stories that defines what is Winnipeg and new found appreciation for my community. The program required each team member to interview a leader and create a short summary of their leadership qualities and style. The interviews were published in a hard cover book that was distributed across the city at various functions. Show less

A large portion of the stakeholders had limited computer usage skills or even access to a computer. I created a Change Management Plan and along with the support from my teammates and Change Sponsors, we achieved an 82% enrollment rate that was recognized as the highest enrollment rate in Canada Post’s history of providing the service.During post implementation there were many HR processes that changed due to standardization and a lack of transparency in processing employee status changes. Upon request from HSC Leadership, I created and presented troubleshooting PowerPoint guide to over 200 Health Science Centre management and support staff as an interim measure to improve HR transactions processing times. Customer Services Manager

When I first started as a Customer Service Manager, I found it difficult to get to know all my clients and portfolio, and often heard my clients saying they had previous discussions with eHealth that I did not have the history. Clients were frustrated and it took me longer to address their needs. I used a notebook and often had to refer back to multiple volumes to get a full understanding of initiatives. Clients were frustrated and it took me longer to address their needs. I used a notebook and often had to refer back to multiple volumes to get a full understanding of initiatives. We didn't have a formal customer relationship management system and no funds to implement one. Through a bit of research into our Microsoft Enterprise licensing program, I implemented Microsoft's OneNote. I used OneNote to record and document meeting minutes, business requirements, and customer discussions. OneNote became an important resource for the new Customer Service Manager who took over my portfolio when I left the position.WRHA relies heavily on many volunteers to deliver services in the region. During a routine requirements meeting with HSC Volunteer Services, I discovered every hospital in the region was using some sort of volunteer database. There was a requirement and a desire to make managing volunteers more efficient. By expanding the scope beyond HSC and meeting regularly with all the Volunteer Services programs across the region, I contributed to a business plan for a region wide Volunteer Services Management database that secured funding for implementation. Today this cloud based system is used to recruit and screen volunteers and a source of quantitative data to support the value that volunteers bring to the region. One of my greatest involvements was when I sought out a flexible low cost solution to provide a Swiss family the ability to Skype with their family back home while their premature baby was in the neonatal unit at St. Boniface Hospital. It was a gratifying experience to see how technology could provide comfort for a family that was going through a difficult time. Show less

Our processes were not documented or had a measure of work effort required to implement our software. I led the development with the support of the Implementation Consultants to developed a standard implementation process and project plan leveraging Microsofts best practices that provided a baseline for our sales team to market our product and services to Healthcare clients across Canada. This allowed the Implementation Consultants the ability to set targets and the organization's ability to implement an effective incentive program that saw an increase in implementation efficiencies and post implementation support.I was heavily vested in the knowledge transfer between implementation and post go live support. Both teams needed to work together and I facilitated a knowledge transfer and program that saw our Implementation Consultants spend time in the support centre to address customer support calls. This experience provided the Consultants valuable information to improve their implementation process and was a great learning experience. Having the additional resources closing support calls also increased our customer service ratings that we measured through surveys and informal interviews. Show less

Sometimes we would receive incorrectly completed finance contracts (missing information, incorrect calculations, etc). These contracts were sent back via mail or courier resulting in delaying payment of 51 days or more to agricultural dealers. I addressed the root causes of the errors by first focusing on some low cost solutions to creating a design requirements document for a online finance contract system. With the implementation of simple excel spreadsheets that assisted the dealer to complete a contract we experienced a decrease in the average payment cycle to 21 days. After the implementation of the online finance contract system we saw a further decrease in the average payment cycle to 14 days and cost savings from not having to print finance contracts.
