Developed a Python library for training Generative Diffusion Models from scratch, featuring a highly modular design for easy customization and integration with PyTorch. Currently exploring the application of Generative Diffusion Models to Math Word Problem Generation. Deepened my understanding of Generative Diffusion Models, honed my Python programming skills, and learned the intricacies of creating a user-friendly and adaptable Python library.

Designed and implemented a fire detection system capable of generating real-time wildfire heat maps for designated regions. The system filters tweets with a fine-tuned BERT model and identifies fire locations using Named Entity Recognition. Gained practical experience in webscraping, finetuning large pre-trained Transformer models and geoparsing text. Published a related paper for the RECPAD 2022 conference, where it was selected as one of the top 4 contributions.

Implemented EVIPRO-KNN, a Remaining Useful Life (RUL) Estimation algorithm for machines, from scratch. Familiarized myself with NumPy and efficient matrix operations, as well as different Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) techniques.

Implemented a web app aimed at evaluating the readability of textual content and acquired solid knowledge of both Backend and Frontend development techniques.
